The Metro-Washington chapter 109 is a self-governing group of Colored Pencil Society of America members that operates to advance the art of colored pencil. By promoting camaraderie, exhibition opportunities, and education locally, the chapters provide artistic support for their members and help CPSA to attract new members. CPSA members are free to join one or more of almost 30 District Chapters around the country. DC109 has a membership of over 50 artists from Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and California. While each artist works in colored pencil, each artist’s style, substrate, and vision are unique. Experience the variety, detail, and subtle nuance of colored pencil art by this group of nationally known artists.
